The Big Bad Wolf?

Kia Ora Bloggers today for literacy we did some writing on wolfs
and we had to write what they did in Yellowstone national park and what they did in France this is mine.
In Yellowstone national park the wolves had a good impact and the wolves regenerated all the plants
because they killed and scared away lots of the animals that we're eating the plants.
But in France, the people didn't like the wolves because they were eating all there sheep
and livestock and when they ate all the food the farmers wouldn't have any to eat for themself, and the people
called them the big bad wolf and other bad names. I think wolves have a good impact on the environment because
the killed most of the deer and the deer were eating all the grass and plants and they took them all away so all
the environment could regenerate. They are very unique and unlike any other animals.

Do you think wolves have a good impact or a bad impact?

Mad Minecraft

Kia Ora bloggers
today for literacy we had to make a Minecraft world about Yellowstone national park, when the wolves were there and when the wolves weren't there. The top photo is when the wolves weren't there and the bottom photo is when the wolves were there. The reason why the bottom photo has more trees and lots more animals than the top one is that in the top photo there are lots of elk and deer and they have eaten up all the grass and the leaves on the trees but in the bottom photo is when the wolves have come and killed some of the deer and made them go away by scaring them so everything could regenerate.
Do you play Minecraft?

Carbonated Drinks vs Mento Experiment

Kia Ora Bloggers
Today for literacy we did a coke and mentos experiment but we did coke and lots of fizzy drinks to n see what would happen. The diet lemonade went the highest and the l&p went the lowest. We had to do a slide of things that happened. This is my slide there are videos at the end of what happened.
Have you ever done coke and mentos?

Oil spills

Oil is in and around our world, even in places you wouldn’t imagine. We use oil for cooking but we also use crude oil. The pumping and transporting of crude oil around the globe often have environmental effects. We have looked at various texts and videos to learn about some of these effects, and it ‘good’ timing as there was a recent oil spill (24 July 2020) in Mauritius that we could investigate. Check out my video to learn more about oil, and see the simulation we did in class about
cleaning oil from water.

Have you ever heard about deepwater Horizon?
